Data Insights AI Partners with Aker BP to Pilot Graphsolve.ai for Production Surveillance and Optimization
Oslo, NORWAY – November 10, 2025 – Data Insights AI today announced a new collaborative research project with Aker BP to deploy its advanced AI-driven graph-theory enabled platform, Graphsolve.ai, on one of Aker BP's key assets. This proof-of-concept initiative will explore the application of advanced analytics and graph theory to enhance production surveillance and optimization.
The project will leverage Graphsolve.ai to deliver a comprehensive graph-theory enabled digital twin of the production network, integrating data from the reservoir to the export pipelines. Over a three-month period, the platform will focus on delivering real-time rate estimation, network optimization against operational constraints, and forecasting.
"We are thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking operator like Aker BP, a company that is at the forefront of digital transformation in the energy sector," said Peter Mann, Chief Science Officer, Data Insights AI. "This project represents a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how Graphsolve.ai's unique combination of hybrid data-physics models and advanced algorithms can unlock new value and provide engineers with powerful, data-driven insights for their day-to-day operations," Alan Tominey - Data Insights.
This initiative is a #oneteam effort, bringing together domain expertise from both Aker BP's engineers and Data Insights AI's team.
Graphsolve.ai is a state-of-the-art platform that utilizes cutting-edge technology based on graph theory to model complex production systems. Data Insights AI is moving beyond the traditional asset model by creating a new concept for the digital twin world, creating a dynamic counterpart to both the physical asset and the expert engineering team, a living system that learns from and collaborates with its human counterparts.
